Wondering what carrier people use and what benefits they receive for what price. Do you get free nights, weekends and long distance? If so how much is all your features a month or yearly... I am going off to college and I only have so much money. I need to know what carrier is the best bang for the buck. Anyone remember the site that let you look at any carrier's service areas? I think my college only has Suncom, Cingular, Verizon and Sprint PCS. Not sure about powertel.

Thanks for any help,
Millenium

I have Verizon and my g/f has cingular. They are comparable, it depends who has the right promotion going on at the moment. The thing I like about verizon is theyletyouawitch plans/promos as they come. Stay away from Sprint IMO.

Cingular. I would rather have AT&T because they always seem to have bettere reception than my phone.

I have Sprint PCS through an retail employee plan - $15 a month for 240 weekday, 500 weekend minutes. I haven't had any major problems with Sprint at all - it's treated me great.

I must be Scottish. I am really looking for a Cell Phone plan that I can use for convenience and not necessity. I really only want to spend like $20 a month. Not really looking for a lot of monthly minutes. Any ideas?

I'm on a retail employee plan also - $15 for 750 anytime, 750 off peak + free long distance ... I am on sprint PCS; the reception here in colorado has never been poor, and I have enjoyed trouble free service.
