I'm using a 19" Samsung 997DF for D3... Of course, the real struggle will be finding out what resolution I can play at without being able to cook an egg between frame renders.

It won't until they release the Mac version. Once that happens, who knows, the G4s went from ~400MHz up to dual 1.4GHz. That will have a sizeable impact, but if you're at the higher end, 800x600 low quality should be playably.

You will be waiting a year to run a slideshow on your G4 with Nvidia 5200. That video card is a piece of junk, Mac or PC.

So is a GF4 MX, and that supposedly plays it at 640x480 low quality, so a 5200 should at least be playable at 800x600.

Unfortunately by the looks of it I'll be stuck running 800x600 high detail or 1024x768 medium with my poor old 9800Pro :(
