Anyone remember those?

I remember baseball stars. You could create your own team and players and upgrade them as you went until they hit home runs almost every at bat. Hehe.

Kings of the beach was great too because it was so tough to win the final matches. I think I always played as Dodd and Steffen-somebody...was a great strategic and twitch volleyball game with, if I recall, a decent soundtrack.

I had a friend with the four score; we used to play Kings of the Beach 4 player. It was awesome. And baseball stars is stil one of the best baseball games ever made. I just loved upgrading my players. 🙂

There was one pass play to Cap Boso (sp?) across the middle that never missed in Tecmo. This was with the Bears of course. How could you not want the Bears?

I also loved Excitebike in the arcade and on console.

the batman that they created after the first movie was released was a really good game i thought.

i'm also a huge fan of all the series games

mario, mega man, zelda, contra, ninja gaiden, etc.

metroid, final fantasy and others are also up there.

damn, i want my old school nes back!

Hehe...and there was the center for the Packers who could get 20+ sacks a game with that sidestep-dive move. That was most centers, but he was for some reason the best...think it was the quickness rating or something.

Zelda
Zelda 2
Mario
Mario 2
Mario 3
Final Fantasy
Dragon Warrior
Dragon Warrior 2
Tecmo Bowl
RBI Baseball
Contra
Life Force
Rambo (if you use the infinite life code)
Faxanadu

I just typed this list in under 30 seconds. There's a lot more games that I liked as well. But these are the classics

That game was impossible, 1 life and no continues? Some guy with a yoyo shield that destroys huge rollie pollies. I don't think I've ever made any progress on that game.

I beat that game. I loved the music in it. There was one part in the game where you were up in the sky on a cloud or something. There was some monster, id defeat it, jump out of screen in the sky, then at the last minute press the opposite direction and land where i jumped. The same monster will be there. Do that many many times and you will be super strong and be able to finish all the bosses in a few hits.

Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Mario/Duck Hunt, Tecmo Football/Basketball, RBI Baseball, Roger Clemons Baseball and Dusty Diamond's Baseball.

TMNT was the hardest game for NES.

Was Crime Fighters out for NES? That's one of the greatest arcade games. You have the knee to the groin move complete with dinging bell sound fx.
