What were the first two things that you loved?

What were the first two things that you realized that you loved or at the very least had a "strong affinity" for? Your parents, relatives, etc. do not count! I guess it can be a significant other but I guess I'll let the thread decide..

<incoherent rambling>

I realized that the first two things that I loved were: attractive women-->Nice Face and Nice Rack and.... cars.. I believe I've had this since I was about 3 years old.

I felt prompted to post this thread after being sorely disappointed though not terribly surprised to discover that Ricky Martin is indeed a homosexual. I know this thread may seem completely irrelevant to the last tid bit that I just said but it isn't. See when I was growing up, I always considered Ricky Martin a womanizer, his music and music videos said it. He was a good looking guy who to me could get any attractive woman that he wanted and I envied that..

I'm not mad that Ricky came out because judging by the paparazzi footage, he did behave in a really gay looking way later in his life. Anyway, it's better for him to be out of the closet and happy with who he actually is than to continue to perpetuate a lie and say he is something that he is not. Yes I am aware that he at one point was going to marry some woman but it's clear that something happened that made him realize that he was indeed gay and not straight..

I just had to get that off my chest... Well, at the very least, I can sleep peacefully at night that Charlie Sheen and the Fresh Prince of Bel Air are still the straight "womanizers" that I perceive them to be.</incoherent rambling>

Until Ricky Martin recently "came out" I hadn't realized he had ever bothered to go into the closet. Seriously, I thought he was an openly gay man throughout his career. In fact, I thought he was a rather odd choice for Bush II's first inauguration party given Republican hostility toward gays. It was kind of sureal watching this flamboyant gay man dancing it up next to Bush, who always had the stench of the crypt about him.

Well he definitely was straight at one point in his life, or at least behaved as such. He was romantically involved with Rebecca de Alba for a long while which was an off and on relationship.

Your post has prompted me to remember and interesting phenomena. I know a guy who always claimed he was straight but clearly acting quite flamboyant and I always had a feeling he was gay. Then he started to say he was curious? or something, it was I guess he was unwittingly transitioning from being a known straight man to a gay man. But finally he came out and said he was gay. Ok, that's not the interesting part.. What's interesting is that there is this girl who grew up with and despite claiming to be gay and doing gay things, he is still absolutely infatuated with her. Pretty much if given the opportunity, he would marry her, he really loves her from what I know..

So I bring that up because that seems exactly what Ricky Martin went through with Rebecca de Alba, but in this case things didn't work out with her and because of that, he'd just rather go gay..

I don't know how to describe that phenomena but I thought it was interesting to point out.
