Ghost pepper flakes....... ON EVERYTHING.

It adds such an obscene flavor that's incredible. I put it on or in all kinds of meat when I cook it from ground beef to eggs to bacon. In pasta, in sauces, in chili. It makes everything so much better.

Most people scoff at the idea thinking it will be searingly hot and disgusting, but most of the time you can get the amazing flavor out of it without having more than a nice, persistent heat.

I'll only eat one thing at a time. I remember eating at someone's house and her mom thought I didn't like any of the food because I hadn't eaten 3/4 of the meal. I was just started with the potatoes :)

When I put mayo or mustard on a sandwich I make sure the entire surface of the bread is coated perfectly and evenly, all the way to every edge. Same with PB&J. Any condiment really.

Parmesan sprinkled on regular store-bought macaroni & cheese takes it to the next level of cheese. You get the full-on cheesy bite rather than mild creaminess. It's like "wow, too bad I didn't think of this years ago."

That's not so weird though. It just doesn't occur to most people.

I feel like I kind of prefer hamburgers with out the bun. Like, I will construct a burger with toppings and sauce, but with 0% bun present. Only except is Five Guys.

peanut butter and butter sandwich (when out of jelly or honey)

Cheerios and butter, melt butter over cheerios like you would popcorn and eat warm.

(yes I was a fat ass)

For plated meals, 99% of the time I either eat items that are served separately or, if I must have them on my plate at the same time, I make sure that there is a clear line of division between them on my plate. I don't like to mix multiple food items together.

I don't have a fear of food touching (which is apparently quite common). I just don't like to mix stuff up.

Likewise, but i got flamed for it here :(

Apples, I will only eat sliced never whole.

It's funny, I'm the opposite with pears - it's not the same experience if you slice them, I prefer eating the pear whole, but I'd much rather eat an apple sliced. I don't know why, since they're almost the same fruit, but I guess the pears are softer & nicer to bite into.

My wife does this and it drives me crazy.

"It's not a Picasso, hun. Fuck it, I'll make my own sammich in less than 10 minutes!"

Peanut butter with miracle whip and lettuce. The combination on a sandwich makes lettuce the star and the peanut butter is downplayed.

I love yellow mustard and buy it in the 6.5 lb jugs. I eat soup and veggies from the can (cold), and cereal from the box. I love fish (herring) steaks (canned, mustard type, of course), sardines are 2nd after herring. I typically eat all food, that's solid enough, with my hands (unless it's socially unacceptable at the time). Can't eat watermelon, or cantaloupe (taste like poisonous weeds).

So, in other words, you...eat...your food?

Well... yes, but presumably so does everyone else in this thread who admits to doing weird things with their food. I mean... unless 'weird' was meant to be taken more liberally than I assumed.

Those people are weird, because what you have described is one of the greatest combinations ever.

I agree with you, but the creme cheese on Oreos thing... that _is_ weird. Like my daughter putting A1 sauce on mashed potatoes or mac and cheese.

My father used to bust my butt about my sandwiches growing up, when I was 16 I would come home late at night after work and raid the fridge and make things like Ham, Cheese, Lettuce, French Dressing, Cottage Cheese, Peanut Butter, Smashed Potato Chip double decker sandwiches :p

Some of my favorite things are food I make together to combine upon ingesting :)

It's amazing how many different kinds of sandwiches can be improved by adding potato chips.

I must be normal. The weirdest thing I do is use creamy Caesar rather than blue cheese with my buffalo wings.
