What website do you use to buy your hardware?

well its been january since i've sold my computer, and i have not kept up with hardware since...

where is the best prices for cpu/mobo/ram? is newegg still king?(doesn't seem like it)

what other reputable websites do you guys order from? thanks.

I've only used Newegg, but there are a lot of other great stores out there. I built a rig just a couple months ago, and Newegg had the best prices on everything. I don't think they have the best prices on that many things now, but Newegg still has great customer service, pretty fast shipping, and fairly good prices.

I'm in Canada so...
Tigerdirect.ca
Canadacomputers.com
Shoprbc.com
Compuvest.com

I'd also like to try monarch computers because they told me they can ship to postal boxes in Canada.

first computer:

egghead
mushkin's site
some ghetto small site for my CPU (forgot what site)
thecardcooler.com

laptop:

dell

new computer:

monarch (cpu + mobo)
zzf (lcd, hard drive, mouse, case)
newegg (dvdrw, keyboard, floppy/card reader)
svc (i live nearby, xp-120, fan grills, vf700)
dell (7800gt)
sidewinder (panaflo 120mm fan)
pctek (yate loon 120mm f an)

For me...

1. Newegg 1% of the time
2. Computer Geeks 4% of the time
3. Fry's electronics 15$ of the time
4. Craigslist - the rest.

NCIX.com
VibeComputers.com
TankGuy.biz (my American source if Canadian stores don't have what i want) 🙂

I buy most of my stuff locally at smaller shops though.
