Frontpage.

I would use Dreamweaver but I don't want to pay that much money for it.

Personally I use Dreamweaver 4 and Notepad. There's no right or wrong. Sounds cliched, but it's true.

I visualize everything with paper and pencil (high tech, no? =))

Then I use notepad to put it all together...

1. Dreamweaver 4 + Fireworks for content building.
2. Frontpage for routine updates - gotta love the upload feature.

Anytime that I am working with HTML, I always have Wordpad running in the background. Even though the WUSIWUG editors are great, they don't like doing certain things.

Mungla...

I was thinking of doing something similar (i.e. mixing DW and Frontpage). Do you find the browsers screwing up each other's code at all? There's some features of Frontpage I'd like to use, but I don't want it to @r$e-up my DW code. Maybe I'm just paranoid - you had any problems like that?

I like Arachnophilia it is free (careware) and works really smooth.

Well...because I'm just starting out, first and foremost, Notepad. There's a whole school of people out there that believe you don't know HTML unless you know how to hand code it. I also have a copy of FrontPage Express that I just play around with.
