Thats cuz you're clueless. The federal ban exipred a while ago.
And if you live in "The Peoples Republic of California" I have even less sympathy for you.

Anyway..............
In real life I couldnt say. Have only used a semi-auto M16. No Burst.
In computer games, Steyr Aug.
In Airsoft, my G3 SAS with 500 round magazine.

FS

Actually, for home defence i DO use a small one round One shot 410 gauge shotgun with a few extra rounds handy. This despite the fact that i own several 12 gauge automatics. Either im an optimist or i am on the smaller firepower debate of the lawsuit issue.I have seen the samll pump 12 gauge shotguns though, and i am interested.

FAL

FTW

I own a FAL (well, the Para version so technically a LAR), an AR-15 (civilian verison of M-16), and an AKM (civilian verison of AK-47) and each one is just like their military counterparts except for the ability to fire full auto.

The AK-47 is by far the worst of the bunch in every aspect except you can drop it in muddy water and it won't jam....but that is because extremely loose tolerances which also means poor accuracy.

The M-16 is a decent weapon and I like the way they shoot but I prefer the FAL for just about anything other than you could not carry as much ammo for it as you could for the M-16. The choice between these two would be dependant upon situation. My FN is my favorite rifle except for my original WWII Winchester made M1-Carbine.

I just watched the P90 demo. I would love to have one. It would be the perfect tanker's sidearm. Don't look for it on the civilian market.

m4's are awesome weapons, although i'm not talking about the pussified civilian versions.

although I had good luck hitting targets on 3 rounds bursts out to 700 meters today with my m249.

if you like spending $12,000 on a rifle. Otherwise I've seen people do pretty good with the "pussified civilian version."

I found a retailer listing P90s for law enforcement purchase, and a semi-only long-barreled civilian version..but I lost the url. 🙁

Ammo is expensive for them..but it's probably worth it 😀
