Oh god, here we go. Lets sue them!! Class action!! Jeez, how many times is the same crap repeated. If you got a great deal because something was incorrectly priced, GREAT!! If you don't, get over it!! Sorry for the rant!! :)

I agree

SHUT THE HELL UP

You people who mindlessly order EVERY OBVIOUSLY MISPRICED ITEM despite NEVER receiving ANY of them need to get a life and a clue....

This isn't directed to you PicPop, just everyone in general

Look people . . . it would have been cool if they accepted. But they didn't. No loss . . . don't start this LAME crap about suing. They did nothing wrong . . . let me guess . . . the people who ordered 30 each want to sue.

This thread needs to be locked.

If Outpost cancells these orders, good for them, and for us, because they won't go out of business like many other online merchants. Imagine if they did honor these orders, and especially for those who ordered thousands of Zip drives!

i'm with you 100% jm. Everybody here in Anandtech got pretty hot deals more than once (that's also the reason why we're staying). Let's forget about this and instead find a legit hot deal!:)

Let he who has never made a stupid mistake cast the first stone.

And with that comment, *everyone* should be silent.

There's a chance that they might honor this typo. But if you order more than 1, your chance of getting it is close to zero.

I remember getting an email on one of my older deal saying "... it was a price error... We'll honor those who ordered one." Anyone remember something like that on one of the old deals in ATech??

If you don't like putting your cc# info out there for deals gone bad then spare yourself and pass by the give-away/zero pricing items. I doubt your card is in any danger, outpost is a reputable company.

ucdchan - that was for The Insider DVD at amazon.com, they let one per customer go through no matter how many they'd actually ordered.

Of course, my cards have been compromised twice now once from egghead and before that from cduniverse, but what has that to do with placing an order for a mispriced item?

This is real pointless. If they honor the deal, then great. If they don't, the OH WELL!!!!! It is not like anyone who placed an order is gonna get jacked out of there money.

If this world had less retards this deal would have gone through (at least for 1 or 2 days) but that's a hopeless wish. As for the suing, none of the jerks who ordered in multiples of 10 have the money or the balls to hire a lawyer anyway and even if they did they would be laughed out of the courtroom..
The people who ordered one have a little more credibility.. this has been proven with that DVD thing a little while ago and with the airline tickets to Europe.. however if this thing doesn't happen which is the most likely scenario we can hold nothing against Outpost.com.. they did not intend to ever give away these zip drives for free and most likely won't let it happen anyway..
As for the possible hacking they can have my CC#'s because they are all at the limit anyways (Damn Anand Hot Deals LOL..) they couldn't charge more than $50 on any of them regardless hehe..
