i have had no permanent life-altering injuries, but my worst one was probably wiping out my bike at 20mph and falling on my hands/knees into a driveway full of fresh 57 limestone. had to wear bandages for weeks after that on my palms and knees.

edit: i forgot about when they cut my head open for surgery and then didn't give me pain meds that worked for 2 day. that hurt like you wouldn't believe. i think i may have been mentally suppressing it lol.

Destroyed my left knee and almost lost my leg in a motorcycle crash. Two Navy docs on rotation at the local hospital saved my leg having had a lot of experience in the first Gulf war.
 
I had a CFL lightbulb shatter in my hand, thereby jabbing a piece into my right index finger. Yeah, I think that's about it. Nobigdeal.txt

I've posted this story before here I'm sure, but tl;dr 3rd degree burns on 80% of feet in a structure fire when I was 13 years old
 
I have a little scar on the end of my doodle after shagging in a pine forest and getting a pine needle stuck in the end of my little chap.
 
so, we're not talking injury here, but rather, THE HURT?

1. when i was idk, 6~8yo (according to what my mom tells me) i fell near-naked into a rather large ditch completely filled with stinging nettle.
2. AGAIN like a moron when i was about 15 i slipped on the wet mud around a lake, and slid down a small hill and basically power-injected a whole bunch of nettle in my left arm.
3. i had my arm broken by a girl.
4. i rammed a car at 60+mph with the throttle on. other guy's fault, but i got broken pretty bad.
5. broke my foot when a cabbie tried to run me over in boston, still hurts.
6. i was drunk AF and accidentally put my arm through a window, nearly slicing off a finger.
7. i'm bad at boogie boarding. a massive wave rolled me from water to beach and the sand skinned me. hurt for like a week.
8. a horse kicked me in the stomach.
9. a mule bit me and wouldn't let go of my fingers.
10. i fell from a wall and the barbed wire dug itself into my foot, leaving me hanging.

11. a girl broke my heart. it still hurts.

1. Fractured 6th and 7th cervical vertebra requiring discectomy and fusion
2. Fractured 3rd, 4th and 5th right ribs and fractured 9th and 10th left ribs (all at same time)
3. Torn left ACL, MCL, meniscus requiring patellar autograft
4. Lacerated right hand requiring 140 micro stitches to artery, 180 micro stitches to 4 severed tendons and 210 stitches to close wound(s).
5. Broken right Tibia
6. Broken right hand


All of these injuries except those noted occurred at different times and different places. My body is now about .4% titanium by weight

Yeah. I got a pine needle STUCK IN MY BELLEND!

I got run over by a dog and broke my foot as well.
 
I've caused/had caused to me lots of pain, but it never surpassed a certain level. Nothing stitches or time couldn't fix. I've never broken anything aside from (suspected)toes a couple times. I even got a helicopter ride to shock trauma once, and just walked out 20 minutes later :^D

I guess the worst, is pretty lame. I'm 90% sure I blew out one or more disks in my 20s, and my back bothers me off and on to this day. No glorious war scars. Just god awful pain and misery.

I'm not quite sure that constitutes a "win." Seems more like a major loss to me.
 
Broken ankle second time, first time doctor screwed it up and one of my two bones was too short. Year later had to be reworked and reset with more screws. Different doctor ~
