Mine was: 800 math / 540 engilsh <edit> I mean verbal.

260 point difference! go figure.

<edit>I guess the SAT is weighed agains where you live 'cause i grew up in the U.S. and I still had a very poor verbal score.

Mine sucked, and out of respect for myself I will not post it here. However, I transferred a 3.75 to HPU, and I should have a 4.0 from HPU this semester.

I elected to attend High Point University rather than Wake Forest. I will attend WFU's law school though!

HPU transferred more credit hours than WFU.

Napalm, when did you take it? That's what I got, weird thing is, I missed 1 math question, and lost 10 points for it, but missed 3 or 4 english ones and didn't lose any.

m690/v760 on my first try. ;)

I was going to take it again to try to ace it, but I thought that would be cheesy. A girl in my high school aced it on the 2nd try, but no one was that impressed. ;)

Although colleges weigh SAT scores heavily when deciding to accept a student, I don't they are truly a good indicator of a persons potential to succeed in college/life.

There are so many things that should be taken into account...there has to be a better way...

Shoot...

I took my first SAT in 85... I remember that back then when someone scored a perfect 1600 they made national news. Seriously.

I scored 1150 in my Junior year, and had the pick of the colleges to choose from during my senior year. I didn't take it again my senior year. Back then the national average was 880.

The questions must be getting easier... :p

They were recentered in 94, IIRC. Gave everyone about 200 points essentially, to bring the average up to around 1000.

650 math + 600 verbal = 1250 end of junior year

I didn't take the SAT but the ACT. I got a 30 and a 31. (I was one sub point from a 32) Just using some simple arithmatic it comes out to between a 1333 and 1377 but I don't know if there is something else that I didn't factor in.

Or if they are even comparable?

People who score higher on verbal than math are weird:). One of the teachers at my SAT school scored 1590 his first time and then 1600 every single time since then(over 10). Freaks:p

<< What was your SAT score? >>

Mine came back negative. :D Thank god. I was checking for difficulty in urination and blood in my bowels, and that rested my nerves.
