I saw the "What's your major?" thread and wanted to take it a bit further, so what was your major and what do you do now? Basically, I'm looking at 2 things:

1. Are you doing what you went to school for?
2. Trying to see what type of job you do with your major.

Trying to help me figure out what I want to do.

 
meh, since I didn't finish my I'll throw in my wife's experience:

Major: Anthropology
Job: Administrative Services Coordinator
 
Major: Was Computer Science, now aiming for an AAS. in Microcomputer Technology
Should be done in about a year.

Job: Doing IT work for an engineering consulting company. I've learned everything I do now from on the job work, nothing really doing CS. I've moved to a community college to get some more in depth work with what I want to do. Computer Science did not offer me what I do in a real world working environment.

 
Major: Computer Science
Job: Web Design at the moment, in a week I'll be an Application Developer WOOOOOOOOT
 
Majors: Policital Science, History

Job: Underwrite Director's and Officers' Liability Insurance and Employment Practices Liability Insurance.

Used to underwrite health insurance (medical, life, dental).
 
I've spent a good portion of the morning looking here:Career Choices

It's from the local community college here. Nothing stands out to me or really interests me. I am so fvcked. I know I need to do something but I can't figure out what.
