HAHAHAHA

my first rig. i bought it in 1981. It was a Sanyo 8086 (86 not 88) somewhat IBM compatible. It used an MS version of DOS not the more popular (at the time) IBM version PC DOS.

no HD, 128 KB Ram and ROM. 2 5.25 floppy drives.

First comp was a Timex/Sinclair 1000 (Z80, 2k RAM, B&W TV for display, cassette tape recorder for programs)
Then a PC clone with a 10 or 20MB HD, 640k RAM, upgraded to CGA video (oooooh)
then a real IBM PC with an Intel inBoard 386 upgrade (hot shiz) with 30MB MFM or RLL HD (made wierd noises booting, but worked fine)
then a Compaq 486-33 all-in-one with 9600 modem, first internet surfing for me :)
then built my own Cyrix 5x86-120, have gradually upgraded that to its current 1.4@1.533GHz Athlon configuration.
