Some old farts i know (engineers actually) swears they've seen them but they don't claim that they were probed. I think they have but just too embarrased to tell

For example

Where: don't recall
when: xx/xx/xx
what happend: Violently probed
I was: Incredibly wasted

Never have been around or experience a UFO, and I certainly do not believe in them (as far as being discs flown around by Aliens).

there is a commedian who says that if he ever gets abducted, the first thing he is going to do is hide something in his ass. That way they won't have to search too hard to find something.

I'm willing to bet that 100% of UFO sightings are aircraft of one type or another and 'probing' stories are repressed memories of people being 'probed' by someone they know, right here on terra firma.

dude, this thread was the only thread where the forums errored on me. THERE MUST BE A CONSPIRACY!!! heh.

i don't believe in abductions since only North American people report them. It's mainly just sleep paralysis, and a i suppose a common modern "folklore" among us americans.

anyways, i did technically see an Unidentifyable Flying Object because I couldn't identify it lol.

My brother and I were at Hawaii at the time and we looked up in the sky, and saw a round silver ball flying very slowly amongst the low cumulous (sp) clouds. Probably was one huge, perfectly round silver balooon lol.

A "UFO" is an unidentified flying object (stating the obvious here, but work with me), which means that it's flying, and you don't know what it is. So if someone reports having seen one, then that person saw something flying that he or she couldn't identify. These reports exist, so therefore UFOs exist.

Has the Earth been visited by alien intelligences who fly unidentified craft? I have no idea. I don't "believe in them" much the same as I don't "believe" in any religion; there simply is no point. I grant the possibility exists, and that's as far as I go until I'm shown credible evidence.

Do I believe aliens exist? I think it is a good possibility given the size of the universe, but I have no baseless "belief".

My first encounter was April 12th, 2001. I was living in connecticut, and I looked out the bathroom window to see these strange lights in the sky. It was cloudy, so I knew they couldn't be stars, so I started freaking out. It wasn't until a few moments later that I realized they belonged to an airplane, but dude, I could seriously feel the probes for those few moments...

Add drugs to the potential causes. Take too much of certain chemicals and you will be seeing aliens.

I'm watching UFO Files on the History Channel and back in the 50's, some of those people who claim to have been abducted looked like complete lunatics. But then there is the story of the New England couple who were abducted, allegedly, while driving home and noticed that the trip took 2 hours longer than it should have. Then there the story of the 4 campers who were also abducted, allegedly, while fishing on the lake.

I saw a UFO while driving on I-95 in Connecticut near New Haven about 15 years ago... I happened to look up at the sky & saw a large green/white ball cruise slowly down over the highway (traffic was stop & go) ... at first I thought it was a helicopter with a searchlght being distorted by the low clouds, but then as it got closer it appeared to be far too big. It hovered over the highway for a few seconds, then shot Northeast over New Haven harbor & was out of sight in maybe 3 seconds.
At that point traffic started moving & I pretty much stopped thinking about it because I had a delivery to make & I was late, but a bit later on the way home again, I was listening to the local rock station & the DJ came on ... first he played Twilight zone music then he said he had a guy on the phone who reported seeing a UFO & said laughingly that anyone else who had seen it should call in. A few minutes later he came back on saying stop the calls because he'ed received over 100! I also heard the next day on CBS News that similar sightings were reported by several thousand folks from North Carolina to Maine.

Not saying that it was an alien for certain or anything, but it was pretty strange ... sorry no "probes" of any kind though! :p

Saw one in Florida back in the 80's. Was driving on the interstate on my way to Tampa from Tallahassee.

It was bright, moved fast and it changed direction in a quick manner. It wasn't anything explainable.

Apparently others on the interstate saw it too. When it shot off I realized I was going about 30mph. I was just following a semi in front of me and matching its speed. Looked around and everyone, even in the passing/fast lane was going the same slow speed.

Wow, what a coincidence... i JUST finished watching Peter Jenning's UFO special. Still not a believer in it. Just because you can't explain what you saw, doesn't mean it's an alien craft. Many of the sightings in the late 70s and early 80s had crafts that were large and triangular... which is similar to a stealth bomber. And as for anal probing... that's classic sleep paralysis.

Some cases are. However, in some cases, there is physical evidence left on the victim that can't be explained. Not to mention the abnormal environmental readings.

Your missing out. Ive seen several at once. It was so unbelieveable it didnt seem real. It was about 10pm, I was at at work, and in a crowded area with witnesses. In fact, our disbelief turned into belief and acceptance of the fact that they appeared harmless and we could go about our business again. So we did.

This is a true story but Im going to save it for another time.
