Mine was a yellow, 1974 Buick Century. I paid $650 for it in 1982. The radiator sprung a leak as I was driving it home from the seller's house.
 
1991 Chevy Caprice.

It was a retired cop car turned into taxi, which was then sold to my parents for $100.

Awesome car, though. Because of that, I loooove old 80's/90's tanks/boats. They kick so much ass.
 
The first car I bought and paid for with my own money was a 1966 Mustang Hardtop that was candyapple red with a red interior. The first car that I drove on a daily basis was a 1971 VW SUper Beetle Super Vee....it was my mother's old car and I drove it while I restored the Mustang.
 
'85 ranger. 4 cylinder, 5 speed, about 38 horsepower. Power NOTHING. No power steering. No power breaks. No AC. No radio. You would be lucky to get it up to 65MPH going downhill on the interstate.
 
depends. My step-father baught me a Datsun 260Z wich is my first car. But the firs car i baught myself was a 83 honda Accord for wich i paid $50 for!

BRAKES!!

My first was a 1984 BMW 325e. It had problems, but when it was working right I LOVED it. Bought it in 2000.
 
'74 Datsun pickup, bought it in '88. Paid $300, bought it myself and I was only 17. Beat to hell, but it had an L20. 🙂
