My TI-89, easily. Handiest calculator - calc.exe. Best computer calculator (for the price) - Graphcalc.

it's amazing the Ti-83+ still costs the same as it did 10 years ago. As near as I can tell, it's the exact same damn calculator. Try selling any other computer from 10 years ago at its original price.

I always liked my TI-85. Still use it on occasion, but I find Excel easier now.

I've had the same complaint. They need to make the same thing for the same price, but far faster with more memory. But no, these calculators are basically the same thing, year after year, and the price doesn't budge.

The 15C is still available, or at least i saw one in Frys that looked very similar. My favorite is the HP 17bII, bought it in 1989, still with me today. This one is also still available if I?m not mistaken.

My old abacus. I could do calculations faster than some people could use calculators. I haven't seen it for years now though .. :(

In modern times, some random Ti. I don't care about calculators, as long as they do what I want

my precious TI-83+. had to do something in all those boring lessons. writing simple apps in basic and playing stupid games helped pass the time.

TI-36 solar in middle school. I was absolutely kickass with it. I got an HP-39g in freshman year and then a TI-89 in sophomore year. Even then I was still better with my scientific calculator at doing quick calculations. I was fast enough with the storage and recalls, but once I got to practicing the SAT IIs and using graphs and variables to make life easier, I became a TI-89 master.

I still use a TI-89 today although I've found a TI-83+, 85, and 86 in random places and they sit on my desk for no purpose at all.

My most hated calculator is the TI-30x. They made us buy these POS calculators for Chem. Interesting they spedn the most time in the world curbing cheating and preventing people from storing stuff in the easiest classes but when it comes to upper division, who cares..

My fingers and toes.
Seriously , what other calculator is with you no matter where you are :)

When I was in school to be an EE, we were not allowed to use anything but a basic caclulator.
Everything else had to be done on paper , show your work, type stuff.
Professor thought it made better engineers.
Not sure about that, but it sure gave me more headaches.

I had an HP-11C that I used in high school and college that I bought back in the mid '80s. I still have it somewhere, and last I checked a few years ago it was still working on the original batteries.

RPN rocks.
