Tekken Bowl in Tekken Tag Tournament. Or possibly Pazaak in Knights of the Old Republic. They're pretty even for me.

My favorite was always the Gradius mini-game between periods in Blades of Steel (NES)

Basically I hate mini games, probably because I suck at most of them. I hated the Pazzak in KOTOR and the swoop racing also. I also did not like the Mako missions in Mass Effect or the lockpicking in oblivion. The only minigame that I kind of liked was the mining missiions in Mass Effect 2, maybe because they could allow some really nice upgrades.

I guess my basic feeling is that minigames either are not necessary or if you have to play them, they distract from the main storyline. Just my personal opinion, though. If you like them, enjoy!

System Shock 2 had a pad that you could play a small selection of mini-games on. Can't remember what now though... it's been a long time

Yeah, I remember that. Wasn't one of them called Pig farmer, or something like that? Sort of a take on Minesweeper.

I can understand why some people don't like mini-games, but I'm the total opposite.

Sometimes I would log in to the Witcher, go find someone to play dice with, roll dice for an hour or so, and then quit - without doing a single thing to advance the plot or game.

it was that tower defense released by Blizzard. It was a part from the Starcraft line-up of games and it was playable in a browser
