I got better marks in History pre-college, but my English teachers in highschool were insular. anything other than repeating exactly what was discussed in class meant getting, at best, a B on a paper. in college, where thinking outside the box was encouraged, I totally pwned the English department 😛
I always did terrible in English though. I write horrible--general runons, no clear direction...basically just a brain dump onto paper. Anyone else like this? Talented in math, physics and CS but BAD when it comes to writing?
I liked math as a child. Was pretty good at it. Then had some aversion throughout high school for any type of math whatsoever. I found algebra, geometry and finite math so damn boring and did really poor in them.
After high school I took calc in college and actually _enjoyed_ it. Calc is my highest grade so far during college 😀
High school... I guess i'd have to say Orchestra/Music since I have been playing the piano/vioin/viola since I was 6. For a real school subject, I guess it'd be Econ/American Government senior year of high school. I was pretty much a B student at best in every subject during high school.
College... pretty obvious, I guess everyones best subject is their major. Mine is accounting
Can we have one with just the 5 main subjects? Math/science/language/english/history?
Math was always my best subject through school, but I rocked intro physics like a bananaphone. WHat?
