What was your best hot deal score?

I know this has been done before, but not in a long while.

I figured with black friday just a few days ago, this would be a good time to do this.

My personal favorite hot deal would be my free ipod, although discussion of that is quite a taboo subject around here.

Just for the magnitude of the deal, I'd have to choose the Dell $750 off deal... here's my largest scores:

Dell laptop $750 off + $30 off + $49 MIR deal (Inspiron 5160 for $780 after 9.25% tax)

Dell laptop $150 off + $100 MIR deal (Inspiron 1100 for $580 after 9.25% tax, year and a half ago)

ATI Radeon 9600 Pro in a 9600 SE box for $129 at Best Buy (year and a half ago?)

Many Target PC games at 68% off

13 PC games for 13 cents at Circuit City

I think the best deal I ever got was the Dell 200GB WD drive for $20. I do, however, have over $1000 in received rebates, not including 3 XM Roady home kits, so I'm no stranger to hot deals. 😀

how the hell eyemwing?

best i ever scored was like 3 or 4 years ago. Best Buy to Microcenter PM, then you had rebates.

brought a 120GB HD down to 30$ after rebates. and back then 120gb's was goin for 100+ i wish i had purchased more and sold them.

Yeah, I remember reading a thread that was exactly like this (the OP is a moron if he thinks 2 days is a long time) on BF and someone said that all the TVs and DVD players that people were buying made them sick, but that's what I would do. I'd get a big bunch of friends together, make a list of what to go for on BF, split up, grab the sh1t, and sell it at less than face value for a decent profit. There's nothing wrong with a little p2p wholesaling.

Edit: I do believe wholesaling should be wholeselling

The $400 dollars of free merchandise from Office Depot for signing up with MSN and then promptly quitting... no strings attached... I think this is the same deal RossMAN mentioned above, but not sure...

Big'ol instant rebate. Then a gift card (Okay, so it's not quite a hot deal, then, but it was to me since I hadn't paid for the card). $4 out the door, then the MIR.
