I missed out on one auction for a guitar amp because it ended up going for more than I was willing to pay, a tad over $600... but there was another auction for the same amp, plus another one from a different year, and I got the pair for under $600 shipped.

Someone stole my $50 dreamcast. I got one on ebay for $12. Had a bunch of games and two controllers, vmus etc. I got lucky. I received $250 from insurance.
