What was your best apartment maintence service story?

In our old apartment, one time our refrigerator stopped working, I called the office and 5 minutes later the maintence people came in with a BRAND NEW refrigerator. They did not even look at the old one, just installed a brand new one no questions asked it rocked. I am used to maintence taking at the very least a few hours and most of the time days to address problems.
 
That would be the time I skimmed three joints worth out of two bags the maintenance guy had in his coat pocket when he had to go back to the shop to get a part to fix my parents washing machine, I was skipping school too 😀
 
So my bathroom toilet was dirty. Hella dirty, we hadn't cleaned it in months. So one day I decide to clean it. Spray Spray Spray, Scrub Scrub Scrub, Wash Wash Wash, Scrub Scrub Scrub. Basically the whole afternoon. Damn it was DIRTY!@!. Afterwards it was hella clean. That night my apartment manager comes in and tells us he's going to replace our toilets tomorrow and asks us what time is best so that someone would be here to let the guy in. Next day brand new clean toilet. 🙁

:laugh: Just a little behind
 
Maintenance guys at my previous apartment complex were awesome. On the few occasions I had something that needed to be done they'd chase me up there in their golfcart or they'd be around that day. They were funny too. The two main maintenance guys were always rolling together and listening to them talk was a riot.

Maintenance guys at my current place are horrid. Left tar/mud tracks on the carpet, takes them 2-3 times to fix something right, takes them 3-4 days to show up after putting in the work order. Oh well, only stuck here another 5 months.
