1) '86 Datsun (Nissan) Sentra - purple, hatchback - missing 2nd gear due to defective cable.
2) '87 Toyota "spacey" mini-van thing. Gold colored, leaked transmishion fluid like mad. Used to overheat.
3) '89 Pontiac Sunbird - Red - my first decent car. Put 120,000 miles on that thing.
4) '95 Ford Winstar - Green - only had this due to a great deal from my dad and an opportunity. Was alright for the 5 months I had it.
5) '98 Saturn SL2 - Gold - My first new car. Not a bad one, but the service people were crooks and there was little alternative. Expensive repairs, lots of car troubles in less than 2 years.
6) 2000 Pontiac Grand AM - red - my favorite car so far. Bought new on trade in for the Saturn. Drives great, little to no trouble so far (one light under warranty).

My first car was a 1978 Ford Granada. That was my first year in college in 96. My dad paid $200 I think. No air conditioning (in Panama!). Luckily, the driver side window was functional, the passenger 'window' however, was a sheet of plexi-glass. There was no covering on the ceiling in the inside. The passenger side door would not open. The hood paint was completely oxidized. Barely ran well enough to get me to college for about a year. Stalled many many ...many times. It did have a radio that worked, though and two speakers were functional, one in front, one in the back.

After that they bought me a 93 pontiac grand am. Nice car.

Now 5 years later I spent more money on my mountain bike (Trek 820, $300) and I drive a 2000 Ford Explorer that I bought new last year.
