The V-10 and the 4 wheel drive are more because of where I will be driving most of the time
southern and central Maine
snows not bad near the coast but a pain inland

Ahh...makes sense then. Don't know about back East but right now SUV prices here have come down quite a bit. Nobody is buying them due to the price of gasoline. Good luck finding one.

1) 1965 VW Beetle
2) 1976 Chevrolet Impala
3) 1980 Honda Accord hatchback
4) 1968 AMC Rambler
I had all 4 of these by the time I was 17, but generally only 2 of them ran at any given moment.

5) 1990 Mazda 323 hatchback
6) 19?? Dodge pickup one summer only
7) 1987 Acura Integra for about a year
sold the Dodge and the Acura, ex-wife got the Mazda

6) 1983 Dodge Charger 2.2L hatchback
7) 1988 Ford Ranger
sold the Charger and then the Ranger and got

8) 1990 Plymouth Sundance 2.5L Turbo 5-speed 4-door (current)

As you can see, the newest car I've owned is a 1990. However, I did get the 1990 Mazda (see #5) in 1991 (maybe 1992?) with only 1000 miles on it.

<< atom, NICE car. Twin turbo? >>

Heh, I wish. Nissan never made twin turbo 300zx 2+2's available in the US. I was lucky enough at 17 to be able to afford the N/A car.
>>

They didn't? I'm pretty sure there was a twin turbo version of the 300ZX....In the us. Maybe it wasn't a 2+2?

Not really. There are basically 5 versions of the Z32. A 2 seater version (no back seat at all) and the 2+2 (which I have, and has a very tiny back seat). And then their turbocharged versions and the convertible. US never got a turbocharged 2+2 though, only a turbo 2 seater.

1. 1995 GMC Jimmy. Biggest POS on the planet. During the last year it broke down EVERY MONTH ON THE DOT. Sold with 110,000 miles.

2. 2000 Toyota Tundra. Have 40,000 miles on it after 1.5 years. Works great.

Next vehicle: 600 or 750cc crotch rocket.

1st 1965 Dodge Polara wagon - Seated 9 people if they were friends. Last time I saw this car was in Dillon, South Carolina after Pedro had it towed from South Of The Border where it broke down.

2nd 1974 VW Superbeetle - Had a dashboard for me to throw my smokes on unlike the standard Beetle. I was on my way home with 3 friends from Jacksonville, Florida to pick up this car when the Polara gave up the ghost. Took us 4 hours to hitch a ride from S.O.B. exit to Fayetteville to catch a plane. In the 1990's I had another 1974 Superbeetle I used to commute 100 round trip daily for 3 years. I still love these little cars.

3rd 1982 Dodge Charger - Omni 024 with some stripes and scoops.

4th 1987 Dodge Shadow 2.2 Turbo - Very tough car, original turbo was still working at 150,000.

5th 1990 Subaru Legacy Wagon (180,000 and drive it to work daily)

6th 1995 Ford Windstar (worst vehicle I have ever owned. Now on it's 2nd rebuilt engine)
