Puzzle adventure game, in the style of 7th guest of 11th hour: you are on an island, you have to figure out what's going on by visiting island buildings, some of which work as portals. There are 3 books in the library. By collecting pages from the book you can release a father, who created the whole universe, or his 2 sons, each of whom is wicked in his own way, and will enslave you into the book if you do release him.

Released around 94-95 I believe. I've googled and searched through old games websites, and the name is even in the back of my head, but I just can't recall it.

Thanks.

haha never played Myst but thought Myst as soon as I read "Puzzle adventure game, in the style of 7th guest of 11th hour: you are on an island"

I loved Myst. Those puzzles were ass-kickers, tho - I always had to resort to googling for a walkthru. 🙁

Downloaded it on iPad (free version) and tried to play, and then I remembered why it was a love-hate relationship for me: UI is absolutely atrocious, and they did nothing in the port to improve it. Glad I tried it out before shelling out $5 for it. And it's for iPhone anyway, no retina graphics.
