Was dating a girl for a couple of weeks when Valentines Roles around...I go over to her house for dinner and she hugs me very gratefullly. In her living room is a huge-A vase with a huge-A boquet of a dozen roses. Thinking it's from me the girl was really happy.. Only problem, I was picking up her flowers later on that evening. Bought Valentines Roses for a girl who already had some. Few weeks later she never calls, sees or talks to me again.

At a bus station in Knoxville, TN I bought a quarter that turned out to be dandelions or some sh!t. I could have used that sh!t on a three day bus ride.

I'm sorry it's late but still, you paid money for money??? 😕

Muahaha 😀

external iomega zip drive for $100 and media that was $12 a piece for 3 or 4 disks; internal is nice....external is painfully slow

EASports Baseball 1999 and 2000. 1999 was bugridden piece of crap. Foolish me bought 2000 anway... was also buggy (much less so) but now had slightly better graphics. So I paid $30 for the 'patch' to 1999.

That was the least EA Sports Game I bought.

ZipDrive (works fine, but, just was a poor investment).

$800 2x Speed CD Burner when they first came out. Back then the media was $10/pop too. Fortunately it lasted long enough for the media prices to comedown to $1/pop and the drives to $1-200.

not mine:

100 DISC CD Changer Wife bought for me. I really wanted it. But, never ended up using it because DVD/MP3's took off about the same time. Still have it / still works.

Nintendo 64. Also a gift. Also wanted it. Got Zelda and M64 for it, but, could really get into those games as 3d games. And the graphics weren't that impressive. I used it more than the cd changer though. Haven't bought a console since.

1995 Oldsmobile Aurora

Its a great car, when its running right. When its not running right, its expensive, if you can find the parts you need.

This also has thrown me off, but after further thought, my guess is that a "quarter" is something drug related? I must be naive as well, but atleast I don't have to worry about getting ripped off with this!

$150 for a dead radeon 9800 Pro on ebay....I relisted it on ebay saying it was dead, and some person as dumb as i was bought it off of me for $180 😛

A quarter ounce of "Mary Jane." Jeez, do you need a better hint?

My worst purchase is probably my PlayStation2. Bought it when it first came out and got the network adapter. I currently have one PS2 game that I occasionally play (GTA:SA) and played a total of 2 online PS2 games.

Jeez, not everyone likes to dabble in illegal substances :disgust:. I've hardly even seen marijuana, let alone know the terms for it. If something has 30 different names, it's gotta be illegal.

About 5yrs ago, I bought a diamond and emerald ring off one of the teevee networks...

it arrived and was tiny, the emerald was cloudy and the diamonds were greyish.

I did not pay a lot.. but have learned never to buy jewelry that I cannot see first.

🙂

My most recent build... tried to make the cheapest A64 system possible... ended up with an Asus K8V motherboard. So buggy that when I try to go to the device manager the PC restarts, when I try to install the onboard sound driver it restarts, and has a system error everytime I restart it.

I've never touched or seen it either, go figure.
