I know I was at a projector review website, but I can't seem to find it, that had a kinda conversational mode buying guide asking you the price you wanted to pay, screen size, distance projector was from the screen, etc. and it spit out the projectors that fit your parameters.

I know there are one or two that have sort of a check list interface, but I don't remember one that's conversational. Is the conversational interface a requirement?

No not really, I just have some unique requirements that eliminate a lot of choices.

110" screen, 10' from projector, projector will be level with top of screen, price ~$1500-$2500

I would find some projectors you like and go to projectorpeople and look at the throw distances. You may need a short throw lens if you can't find a projector with the appropriate throw distance.

The $2499 Panasonic AE3000U almost gets you that big at 10' (102") and have lense shift to take care of mounting issues.

Epson 6100 and 6500 too ;)
