What was the stupidest thing you've done,said, or thought regarding cars?

When I first got my first car (86 crx si) i didn't know i had a sunroof for like 2 months. I just thought it was a place where you COULD put a sunroof, then one day my sister was fiddling with buttons on the dash and *wirrrrrr* the sunroof opened! I was like omgwtfh4x!!11

I read this thread, it caused me to have some pretty stupid thoughts about sunroofs.

A long, long time ago I mistook the clutch for the brake while steering a Fiero that was being pushed backwards. Smack right into a gas station kiosk. Being a Fiero and made of fibreglass the backend was thoroughly trashed. Luckily the engine was blown, so the owner didn't even claim the car and never found out it's final fate. Phew.
