The first one I remember was godwin's law which was about when I set up my 4 line bbs, so early 90's.
The one used most often (even today) is BIFF. For those of you that are talking about the oldest versions of 1337 sp33k, you are thinking of this guy that went by the name of BIFF on usenet. Basically the same as nef here on AT. I don't think there would be many folks on AT now that were old enough then to be on usenet at that time and remember that halarious mess.

Mr. T Ate My Ball was 96 and WWW, slapped with a large trout was 93. There was probably something before that, but 93 was the first year I was on Efnet. Anyone who was on IRC before 93 know of any earlier? There were a bunch of meme's years before the web was even around. Are we talking internet meme or web meme's?
