Gah I'll be staying up for a while.
I have my math exam tommorrow at 2AM, and all the homework assignments are due. I finished 3.5 out of 15 assignments.
I think it's going to take me around 10 hours to finish all of them.
It's 4AM now, so I have just enough time :Q

I think you just missed your test buddy ;) Get some sleep now :)

Almost six days during Hell Week in BUD/S (basic SEAL training). Luckily we all had lots of.... exercise..... to keep us moving. :D You've never seen such a bunch of zombies.....

there is no way on earth you pulled that off without catnaps.

the most i ever went was final week spring '03, from a sunday morning to wednesday afternoon, when i fell asleep in my chair for 30 minutes or so at the library and nearly missed my last final.

after my final that day i went to sleep and woke up friday night.

i guess almost everyone here has pulled (or will pull) all-nighers sometime in their life, so staying up for ~40 hours is no biggie. if you're in college i bet most of you don't even need coffee to get thru an allnighter.

Probably around 40 hours. Sometimes you just can't sleep one night for various reasons. Thus you are already near the 36-40 hour mark by missing one night. I never wanted to try for more.

Don't know how any of you can do more than 40 hours with absolutely no sleep, not even naps.

I went around 30 i think. wasnt a pleasant experience.

In terms of cramming for tests and stuff, after you're awake for more than 24 hours the work you're doing becomes crap and its just pointless.

Around 48 hours because of oversees travel. It wasn't bad at all, I didn't even drink any huge amount of caffeine.

I knew a guy with a bad addiction to amphetamines that would stay up for 7-14 days at a time.

I worked (videography) from 9 am one day until 8 pm the next day, with the only break being the 40 minute drive between the two different shoots at 8 am the second day. So, 35 hours.

Just 'to do it' I think in college we stayed awake about 46-hours before we walked home. We had gotten pretty silly by then.

When I was younger I had been seriously ill. Just swallowing was extremely painful and I couldn't breath through my nose. I had a period of three solid days without sleep. I was in la-la-land, but I had actually not eaten in four days. By the time it was over I had lost a substantial amount of weight as a result.

I stayed up for 6 days... no sleep and no shower.... studying for finals... I went home to take a shower, and was planning on pulling a 7th day, when my shadow waved at me.

Thats when I went to bed.

~72 hours. I did that during one winter break during high school. The next closest was 50 hours. I did that a few months back at work.

One time I decided to try to stay awake for a month in HS. I stayed up for a few days, then started taking powernaps when I realized it wasnt going to work. I did get my sleep down to an average of about 3 hours a day though during that time, but I wouldnt recommend it.
