Last Friday 🙁 I had some leftover sauce so I made a reasonably small portion of lasagna and then a balsamic vinaigrette for my salad.

I've been trying to get through a bunch of leftovers at the moment and it won't be until tomorrow that I will do more than reheat items from the refrigerator.

Made this last weekend.

~ 3 lbs cubed venison
~ 4 cups diced potatoes, carrots, celery, green beans, corn, and onions
2 cups water
stew seasonings (parsley, pepper, beef bouillon, etc.)
place in crock pot on med temp setting
wait 8-9 hours
Enjoy for 3-4 days.

Last night I grilled some boneless chicken breast on the grill next to marinated zucchini. I waited for the chicken breasts to be almost done and then put them on tin foil on the grill. Threw some pepper jack cheese on top of the chicken with a tomato concoction consisting of diced tomatoes, basil, olive oil, and light pepper. Let that melt off and the chicken soak in the juices on the tin foil until chicken was done.

Bacon.

As in, you smoked and/or brined a pork belly and then sliced it into strips?

As in I cooked it in a pan and not a microwave.

Are you going to tell me you slaughtered, butchered and ground the cow for your meatloaf? 😛

Ground beef doesn't need anything special to become "ground beef" while bacon does not come off the pig as "bacon". 😛

Last night was chicken marsala with spinach -- chicken, mushrooms, marsala wine, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, garlic, green onions. served with mashed potatoes.

I cook dinner every night, usually. Last night was Nachos with Taco Beef, Colby Jack, Jalapenos, Tomatoes, Onions, Salsa and sour cream.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do tonight, I have many options, so it'll probably be what ever sounds good.

hope this isn't considered a necro, I actually thought about this thread while cooking dinner tonight 😀

I made grilled chicken sandwiches for my boyfriend and I with chicken, bacon, pepperjack cheese, and buffalo sauce. they were pretty awesome.
