What was the last music album that you purchased?

Chaotic42

Lifer
I bought "Systematic Chaos" by Dream Theater and "Ain't Life Grand" by Widespread Panic.

I haven't listened to all of it, but Systematic Chaos sounds like the best Dream Theater album in eight years. I got turned on to Widespread Panic by a friend at work. I had never heard of them before, but it's good, laid back rock music.

What have you bought recently?

I couldn't possibly remember the last album I purchased. It was in the late 70s early 80s.

Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos (just bought today)
So far seems pretty decent, though I kinda miss the more mellow late-90's DT.

Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet (bought a couple of weeks ago)
Another great album by PT.

Damn, I can't believe they are that old, and they only have 3 albums out (not including greatest hits). I can't wait for the new one to come out...if it does.

The only album I've bought was Eminem's Marshall Mathers back when I was a dumb 12 year old.

i rarely buy albums. Last album purchased:
Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank
before that: Coheed and Cambria - Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness (long title eh? Vol. 2 arrives in Fall, which is by far the album I have looked forward to most, of my entire life)
before that? hell, I don't remember. Probably Linkin Park - Meteora, with before that having been their first album. I refuse to buy their new garbage album though.

Porcupine Tree - Deadwing. Think I got it a couple weeks ago.

But really I don't purchase many albums; I mostly trade on lala.com.

Yeah, they don't feel like the same band anymore. Maybe I've changed, but I'd like to see more stuff like "Images and Words" or "Awake".
