I just finished reading The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara #1: Ilse Witch. I realized that before this one I hadn't actually read a book in almost a whole year. Just wondering what the last book you read was and when you read it.

Recently I've become hooked on Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe mysteries. They are excellent. Technically, however, the last book I've completed was "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" by Stephen King.

A Canticle for Liebowitz. Read it a few weeks ago for school. Not bad, really. I can't remember the author, though.

Here Is You War by Ernie Pyle. A cherry first edition with the wartime paper rationing stamp and original illustrations. picked it up at a garage sale for 50 cents. Some people just don't know what they have.

Money Angles by Andrew Tobias, who is more famous for being the author of The Only Investment Guide You'll Ever Need and for being the Democratic National Committee's Treasurer (*shudder*).

I recently finished Black Hawk Down, and now I'm working on a Scotty Bowman biography (Red Wings coach) and Stephen King's Everything's Eventual.

"Technically, however, the last book I've completed was "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" by Stephen King. "

That was a pretty good book. Not what I expected at all.

The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison was the last thing I read. For English class. The last thing I read by my own choice was Robert Heinlein's Starship Troopers, also for English, but I got to choose that from a list provided by the teacher. Outside of class reading, the last book I read was Winter's Heart by Robert Jordan and I'm reading The Eye of the World, also by Jordan, again.
