What was the last book you read?

The Bourne Supremecy.

no, it was awful. I loathed reading it, and was able to finish it only through sheer force of will.

I'm currently reading "The Death and Life of Superman," which is a pretty good novelization of the comic book story arc where Superman died. I never read the comics, but I was always curious about how that arc worked itself out. when I found the book on the clearance shelf in Barnes and Nobels, I picked it up.

im reading RA Salvatore's Dark Elf Trilogy.

it's pretty damn good for a D&D series.

i always thought that stuff so juvenile, but i'm loving it.

it's the 2nd trilogy in the Drizzt series, telling the story of his birth and origins

yeah, the bourne identity was a much better movie than book.

i just finished shogun- it was GREAT! huge recommendation there. 1100+pages of fun and excitement.

This is sad but... Essential Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Read only if you want to ace your biochem final. I took a break from reading this Christmas.

Umm..dude...hate to rain on your parade....but the Dark Elf Triology is kinda considered the 1st trilogy in the Drizzt Series..

The Ice Wind Dale Triology, even if it was released prior, happened AFTER the Dark Elf Triology

America - The Book. Great polital satire. Haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Read it. That's an order.

it's been my coffee table book for the past month. I pick it up whenever I'm sitting in the living room watching my roommate play xbox.

I get a least 1 laugh per paragraph 🙂

Anyone ever read Art of War by Sun Tsu? I'd like to get a hold of a good translation and read it.

read it in high school. didn't think it was that great/worthwhile.

The Autobiography of Henry VIII, and The Other Boleyn Girl - not bad fiction, pretty enjoyable reads only if you're interested in English history circa first half of 1500s (im a big history buff). did find it interesting how one book made a big deal out of something while the other trivialised it tho... the first barely mentions mary boleyn at all, while the second is partly about her affair with him 🙂
not serious, intellectual reads, but good for light reading when relaxing from studying.

Stardust by Neil Gaiman.
Its kind of a modern fairy tale, and this is my fifth time reading through it.
Highly recommended, as is every Neil Gaiman book. American Gods, Neverwhere and Good Omens. are all awesome.

Before that, I finished Sir Apropos of Nothing: The Woad to Wuin. Its the second Sir Apropos book, and also highly recommended. Its written by Peter David.

sort on-topic...

my boss asked me for a book recomendation a couple weeks ago, and I recomended Atlas Shrugged. he's about half-way through it and finally relized that it's not going to turn out to by a science fiction book 😉

the quote on the book cover -- "the man who could stop the world" -- let him to think otherwise. hehe.
