<< the latest book in the "sword of truth" series, faith of the fallen is the best so far. >>

The latest book is Pillars of Creation.

<< Guns, Germs and Steel, by Jared Diamond. All about how societies developed and why they
developed the way they did. Pretty damn good book.
>>

i liked it too.

currently: tale of genji by murasaki shikibu - the first novel ever written. 1000 years old.
i'm reading an abridged version that is only 11 chapters long. there are other versions that
run for 54 chapters total but not all of these chapters were written by the original female
aristrocrat.

I just finished Brad Meltzer's The First Counsel as well as David Baldacci's Saving Faith a few days ago. Both were pretty good.

<<
Net: My Boot -- She hates my futon. Is the guy going to finish this story or what? I am almost done reading up to chapter 23.
>>

Actually one night I read that entire thing and got to the end and it was just unfinished, what a letdown.

Clive Barker's Cabal. Read Fritz Lieber's Lankhmar (please excuse the spelling) right before it and Im getting ready to start the second book in the series.

i started the ultimate hitchhikers guide to the galaxy but i never bothered to finish it yet. just got busy.

I just finished 'Black House' by Stephen King and Peter Straub. It is the sequel to their book 'The Talisman'. Now, I'm reading 'The Silmarillion'. 'Black House' was pretty good, but I thought King's 'Dreamcatcher' was better.

That's just my opinion, I may be wrong

I read that too! Awesome book. Learned a lot for my AP World Hist. class.

Hamlet, by William Shakespeare.

Currently reading: 'Das Kapital' (Karl Marx) and 'The Sonnets' (William Shakespeare), plus a Dutch book: 'Publieke Werken' (Thomas Rosenboom).

Sometimes I read as many as five or six books at the same time 🙂
