The hardest class they teach for CS majors at my school is innocuously called "intro to the theory of computation." It combines theories of computation along with mathematical proofs into one real mess of a class. No fun whatsoever......

1) "Abstract Algebra". I took the honors version which had like 5 undergrads and 15+ grads from other departments. Hard class as a soph.

2) Nothing I can remember. I never deliberately took easy classes.

Well it wasn't in college, but AP European History was by far the hardest course I've ever taken/will take.

1. Physics 1/2 only hard because professor was a big headed self centered retired smart as hell ex NASA engineer/instructor.... gave "his" tests instead of the standard curriculum
2. I ended up with a B... not really hard but just a lot of work and focused thinking...

Oddly enough, State & Local Government.

The tests had the most obscure questions on them..I pulled off a B, though..just barely.

1) Either of my Econs (micro or macro). It's not so much difficult work as it's completely against every fiber of my being. It makes it really hard to get through the class when you're angry every day.

2) Jeffersonian and Jacksonian Democracy (Hist 415) - I'd already had 3 history classes covering this period of American history. I've never had a prof so minutely dissect a period before. 8 assigned texts for the class. 2 research projects, an oral presentation, numerous 'progress updates', and 12 essays. Minimum of 76 pages written for the class, not including covers, bib's, etc. I ended up with about 83 pages myself.

I'm a senior in CS, and Operating Systems was the hardest so far. The algorithms class that i'm taking right now isn't really that hard but i fvcking hate it.. too much like discrete math, which also sucked balls.

oh I remember my physics professor, he made it harder by using only english system, he's old too, maybe that's why. the horror....

the lab was cool thou, my partner was a hot physical education major graduated from UVA.

By physical Chemistry do you mean, general chemistry or intro chemistry?

I'll probably run into tougher ones before I get out, but Calc3 was pretty hard. Mostly due to an awful prof and his awful "book". Managed to escape with a B.

My hardest class was probably Theurgist. I mean the air elementals were nice and all, but one midgaard zerg would pretty much stop me in my tracks. It was very tough, I didn't survive for very long.

1) Calc 1, simply because of my prof. Calcs 2 & 3 I sailed through with 90s. :confused

2) Philosophy. God, do I hate philosophy.

1) Biochem here
2) Interestingly, History 201 - there is way too much to know and memorize plus the excessive reading. Bleh!

1) Accounting, Ended up dropping the class. BAD Idea for a new Electrical Engineering student to try and grasp the class. Terminology was completely opposite and confusing!

2) CAD I and II. I had 4 years of cad experience in high school before taking the classes. When I got the book after signing up I knew i'd ace it. It was the same EXACT book I had in high school. After reading my HS transcripts, The professor let me be his assistant as opposed to actually taking the class.
