I love Tommy Boy! That is another one of my favorite movies, especially when Chris Farley starts singing Maniac at the gas station! :)

I always liked Quest For the Holy Grail myself. Also, although they aren't technically movies, I'll throw in a word for MST3K :)

Repossessed is the funniest movie ever made. It's a parody of the Exorcist.

Favorite scene is when the family is watching TV, her head twists around and she projectile vomits all over. The brother nudges the sister and says "PMS".

I hate to repeat some of these but the truth is the truth.
Army of Darkness, Dumb and Dumber, Coming to America, Naked Gun, Up in Smoke, Big Lebowski, Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, Ghostbusters, Stripes, Fletch, and Friday just to name a few. Cant just pick one.

props to Girlfriday and RUSS

Anything by Monty Python is a hoot (including spinoffs like A Fish Called Wanda)

And most of Leslie Nielsen's stuff is classic as well...ditto for the Airplane! series

I can watch "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" over and over and still laugh out loud. When I know the scene with Steve Martin as Barbara Stanwyck in "Double Indemnity" is coming up, I have to cross my legs very tightly because I know I am going to laugh really hard, and I don't want to leave a puddle.

The Cable Guy

Seems a lot of people feel strongly to the contrary, but I'm thoroughly convinced it is one of the most brilliant comedies ever produced. Perhaps that's where the distinction lies, I think most people don't perceive it as a comedy due to the dark theme. Lots of classic lines...how could they not be? They're pulled directly from great (and some not-so-great) movies.

"Hello Clarice, it's good to see you again."

"Dost thou have a drink for me mate? He has been pitched in battle for a fortnight, and has a king's thirst for the frosty brew. Dost thus hast thou for thus?"

"We must battle to the death, or they _will_ kill us both."

And that's just from one scene.

Best regards,
Floyd

There's Something About Mary, Dumb And Dumber, History Of The World and The Blair Witch Project (so stupid it was funny).

I only saw the last part of cheech and chong :( I like the monty Python films. Oh, and also I love any 80's - early nighties comedy. Is up in smoke the only Cheech and Chong movie? (out right now)
