After seeing Saving Private Ryan tonight it reminded me of the strugle I went through to watch it when it first came out on DVD, the first DVD available for rental in my podunk little hometown, and finaly being able to watch it after several hours of cursing at Creative Labs and thier horrible DVD decoder.
So What was the First DVD you ever watched?
 
dont remember, first DVD's I owned were Top Gun and Aliens...I watched Top Gun first...but I probably saw a DVD before that, not positive though

so I'm going with Top Gun
 
The Mummy, was the first DVD I bought the same day I bought my first player, those were the days. I bought my player and got 12 DVD's for free by mail, of course I paid $250 for it also.
 
Purchased a DVD drive my computer and the Matrix on DVD.

That stupid green tint the "Computer World" had was bugging me and I kept adjusting the colours until I looked up on the net that was filmed to be that way.
 
Sleepy Hollow was the first one I watched. Dazed & Confused was the first DVD I owned. It's amazing, and a little scary, that I can remember that from four years ago.
 
The first I ever watched was the doodoo DVD that came with the Creative 2X DVD drive. The first I ever bought was The Matrix.
