FF Mystic Quest was definitely not the worst.

I really enjoyed Earthbound. The worst is something I can't really think of, though.

Final Fantasy IV/V/VI
Donkey Kong Country 1/2/3
Super Mario World
Super Mario RPG

More?

Man, the SNES was by far my favorite system. So many good games from all sorts of genres!

What kind of question is that...its obviously Link to the Past...its just about the best game ever made in my opinion....on the best system ever made.

Mario Kart is good too tho.....

Super Mario RPG hasn't been mentioned yet. It's not the 'best' but I :heart:ed that game.

Take your pick from those for the best. Not sure about the worst... I didn't play the really bad games.

[edit] Forgot SMW... :brokenheart:

Amen brotha.... I still play Super Mario All Stars & World on my rickety SNES....... still good times a rollin'....

My favorite was Chrono Trigger, by far. I played it again on my SNES last winter. It's one of the few SNES games I still own.

I avoided the bad ones, so meh.

Final Fantasy III (VI) and Chronno Trigger are the best.

As for the worst, take your pick. Nearly 1000 SNES were released...Wayne's World comes to mind.

I can't believe no one has mentioned SMW2: Yoshi's Island. I guess it came on the tail end of the system, when the 32-bit systems came out, but it remains the greatest platformer of all time. Too bad not enough people played it, since nothing has come close since.

If I only had one choice, that would get my vote, but secret of mana, super metroid, and a link to the past get honorable mentions. Although I could write a VERY long list of SNES games that are worthy of recognition. It really was the greatest system ever.
