What wakes you up?

I am curious how people wake up or what wakes them up.

I personally am woken up either by complete sleep or by an alarm clock if I need to be up in a certain time.

A lot of times I wake up because my mom or someone in my family makes noises that interrupt my sleep.

So what wakes you up?

About the same for me too, especially the bladder thing (I tend to drink a lot of water). Now as far as staying up once I get up...that's something else entirely. 😛

Nothing.

Seriously, my alarm can take from minutes to hours to wake me up. When he's around, my roommate pokes me in the side. Without that, it's just a matter of how deeply I'm sleeping and how long my alarm has been going.

my alarm clock does nothing. i cun turn it off in my sleep, withought even nowing it until i notice i woke up late, and the alarm is off. ive had a few times where i would wake up, still in a daze, and atoumatically turn off the alarm, then realize its too early, and proceed to fall back asleep.

The rap music downstairs is keeping me awake right now :|

Urge to evict...rising...

In the mornings, I have an alarm clock radio set to classical music and my cell phone plays John Lennon's Imagine

My cell phone. If I get enough sleep it's not uncommon for me to wake up 5 or 10 minutes before my alarm is supposed to go off.

my neighbor's stupid dog :|

barring that, I usually leave myself enough time that I can get a full nights sleep and wake up naturally. I have an alarm set as a fail-safe, but I'm almost always up at least an hour before the alarm is set to go off.

"Hey EpsiIon, we're leaving at 7."

*walks in the next morning at 9 to EpsiIon fast asleep with the alarm continuing to go off*

Yep, that sounds about accurate. 🙂

I wake up to the first click my radio makes turning on. I typically have it off before the sound starts to play.
