Anyone else remember those Michael Jackson video games they used to make? You'd kick stardust at the enemies and stuff.

They should make a new one of those.

Diablo 2

Whoever said NFSU is probably barking up the right tree of what a twelve year old wants also. Me I liked combat type stuff at that age, but there weren't any graphic combat games back in 1969. Vic Morrow reruns was more like it :)

Do not let your 12 year old son play this game. It is highly addicting. It is not safe. If you were to choose a Blizzard game let it be Starcraft or Warcraft 2/3. Diablo II is NOT safe. It has ruined many lives.

Age of Empires. It is educational!

Fsck yeah! When I was 8, I used to love playing AOE2, then going to school and learning about it. It gave me a good outline of what was to come, and now I learned in Psychology that a frame to build on greatly increases retention. I would recommend AOE for your 12 year old child. :)

You were born in 1992?

Halo2

GameCube
Super Mario Kart

PS2
Ace Combat 4/5
Madden 06

Find out what his PC's specs are so you can narrow it down. If he's an enthusiast with water cooling and such, he'll likely hate something as ancient as Starcraft (despite it being the best game of all time). If he's sheltered, a GTA title might not be for him, maybe something more along the line of the Sims 2.
