Ha, I am often the same way. I usually lose interest in the game before it officially "ends". A lot of gaming is repitition, that's why I never finished Everquest or Starcraft single player. There are way too many games to experience to get caught up in finishing just one or two.

I've never beat a video game. Not Super Mario brothers. Not GTA3. I just give up. I am a Video Game Looser (VGL).

I can never beat games because I skip around. I will play one game for a while and then switch to another. The last game I have beat legitimatly was Deus Ex. Now that was one awesome game.

EDIT: Actually I should say the last game that I have beat period, because I don't use cheat codes. Only time I do is when I get bored in GTA3 and feel like killing a few thousand police officers.

MGS2: Subtance on Xbox, great game (never played mgs2). And recently quit Asheron's Call (morpg), one of the best morpgs ever.

You can't really beat the game, but I guess NCAA Football 2003 for Gamecube is the closest in recent memory. I guess winning the national title is "beating the game." In 3 full seasons of my dynasty, I've won three ACC titles and two national titles.

metal gear solid 2: substance. Well the main story anyway; only about 25% through the extra missions that are tacked on.
