I'll probably miss it too. It's served me well, but it's time has come. I've got my eye on a Leadtek 4400 or 4600. I'm setting up a computer just for gaming(no firewall, anti-virus, or anything else running in the background).

Radeon 7500 (see the Katana link in my sig for more info)

It doesn't have the horsepower of an 8500, but it's got great image quality in both 2D and 3D, as well as great dual monitor support and excellet DVD/TV-out quality.

It's an all around awesome card. I'm very pleased with it.

I plan to keep it for a while...I don't do all that much gaming anymore, but when I do upgrade my card I'm pretty sure my next will be an ATi card as well.

I've got the 64MB Radeon 8500. Since I spend more time on the computer in 2D and reading text (forums, etc.) than I do gaming, the Radeon at the time was the better choice. Probably still is.

The next upgrade will be another Radeon......but I want to get some life out of the current card.

GeForce2 Ti. Starting to get old, but it'll do for a while. I haven't done much gaming lately.

The only way to get the 275/275 card is to get the retail "built by ATI" version. All the LE, LELE, "powered by ATI", etc cards are clocked lower.

I love my Radeon.

bzzzzzt... wrong... there's at least one powered by ati card (hercules) that is 275/275 retail, and possibly more. i put one in a rig i helped my friend build for another friend.

i'm still running the radeon 64vivo, but i got a compaq presario 2800 with a mobility radeon 7500 too:)
