[edit: I like Vshah's idea of timeframes...]

Shortest list, and biggest humour value:

1- Trident 8900CL SVGA 1MB VLB (386/486) (Nov 1994-Jan 2000)
2- ATi Rage 128 XPert 16MB AGP 2x (K62-450) (Jan 2000-present)

...yes, that's it. :) Still searching for my upcoming total upgrade - I may hit 21st century tech! :D

Edit: I can now announce:
3- Asus V9280 S2 SuperFast Ti4800-8X (AXP2500+) (starting June 2004)

Oh, should I include the ATi Mach 64 VLB in the 486 I'm rebuilding (in order to play old non-cpu-locked DOS games)?

Unfortunately, my budget isn't as big as many of the above posters, so my cards have to be exceptional price/performance and last a while. Here's my list of the last few years:

GeForce2 MX (vanilla version) - $80
GeForce4 4200 128MB - $149 (now in my wife's rig)
GeForce 5900Ultra 256MB (was a mispacked 5900SE for $189 from that CC deal a few months back) flashed and clocked to 5950U.

4 years (and counting) of gaming goodness for $418.

I thought i'td be nice to put a timeframe for each card i've owned (when it was in use).

1994-1998: Number 9 Ticket To Ride (2mb pci)

1998-2000: STB Velocity 4400 16mb agp ( i remember the box for this said "Finally. 100fps gaming at 1024x786@32bpp...ya right)

2000-Jan 2004: Geforce 2 Ultra, 250/460 64mb ddr. yes, this baby lasted me quite a while...still use it on my 2nd rig to play multiplayer.

Jan 2004-March 2004: Geforce FX 5200 Ultra 128mb. (it was free, i'm not stupid...and besides, its better than a gf2 ultra)

March-Now: gainward ti4200 golden sample (in sig)

sometime soon: 6800gt

First card I bought was a Voodoo3 2000 PCi 16 MB
Then I got a GeForce2 MX400 64 MB... but that got "pwn3d" by power problems along with my Maxtor hard drive
Then I got a GeForce4 Ti4200 128 MB made by Gainward
Then I got a GeForce4 Ti4200 128 MB made by Asus that overclocked to 325/650, so slightly faster than a Ti4600
Now I have a GeForce FX5900 overclocked to 490/940

Hard to say what my next one will be... I want to see a good comparison between the 6800, 6800GT, 6800 Ultra, x800 Pro, and x800 XTPE... I want to see overclocking results, the effects of SM 3.0, specifically how pixel shader performance is effected as well as how displacement mapping looks and how it effects performance, and I want to see how the 6800's video encoding/decoding works... after all that, then I'll make a decision based on price/performance/features.

My complete list, in some kind of chronological order, though not precisely, and not all necessarily on the same PC :
1MB Trident 8900 ISA
2MB S3 PCI
4MB S3 PCI
4MB Trident 9750 AGP (with Matrox m3d PCI for 3d acceleration)
8MB Intel i740 AGP
16MB Creative TNT AGP
32MB TNT2 M64
32MB Geforce2 MX
64MB Geforce2
64MB Geforce2 Pro
128MB Geforce4 Ti4200
128MB Radeon 9500
128MB Radeon 9700 Pro

No idea who made the cards themselves - that never really did matter to me.
