I sometimes get an occasional 1-2 minute pause in games like COD2, but that may be because my Athlon 64 3500+ is bottlenecking it. An E6600 should take care of it, though. :)

If you're getting a 1-2 minute pause while playing a game, then you have a serious hardware or software malfunction. Your 3500+ is only bottlenecking if you play at 1024x768 resolution or lower.

tru dat is

Sorry. It was a typo. It's really a 1-2 second pause.

Although the law of small numbers applies here, I'm still glad to see the #1 popular card here is the one I just ordered :p Best bang for the buck, with top-notch performance and IQ it seems...

Leadtek 6600GT 128MB PCI-E.A bit dated...still runs the games I play on moderate to high level eye candy very good.I'll probably trade this one in for a card that'll last me another good 2-3 years.Whats the best video card at the 150-190 $ range?

I thought the 7900GT is more popular than the poll says. Maby it just needs more votes.

X1900XT is popular.
And IMO, should have separated them by generation and then like this:
X1900XTX
X1900XT
7900GTX
7900GT
X1800XT
etc.

But it's fine the way it is.

In my main computer, a eVGA 6800 vanilla...great for the money but will upgrade soon.

In my "little" computer (Antec Aria), an XFX 6200...again, great for the money. Cannot really upgrade because the Aria has a custom shaped PSU that is only 300 W. Also, this case is best for low profile cards...and fanless helps keep it quiet. Can't find a good upgrade that fits these specs...open to any suggestions.

Give him some credit. Just find your card and click, didn't cause you grief did it?

X1900XTX here. I've always thought the GPU's were better built as that's why they're the XTX's, but who really knows. Many have gotten great results out of both XT's and XTX's.

Use to have two 7800GT's with a 6600GT before that. To this day I still think that the 7800 series was an ideal example of what video card manufactures should present. On time, unmatched, and affordable.

I have:

2x X1800XT 512MB (1 CF Edition)
1x GeForce 3 Ti-500 64MB (not currently being used)
1x Radeon 9600 256MB (not currently being used)
1x Voodoo 3 2000 (not currently being used)
1x Quadro FX1400
2x ATI Rage 8MB Integrated (1 disabled)

1x Gainward Golden Sample 7900GT 512MB in the post.

The fastest of those is the X1800XT (for now) but the most stable by far is the Quadro FX1400 albeit the most expensive of them. Voted X1800XT as it's what i'm mostly using.
