9700 PRO. BTW what are the standard clock settings for this card? According to the Rage3D utility core clock is 276.75mhz and the memory is 270mhz.Is this right? It's an ATI built card.

8500LE 128 meg here.

that would fall under 9200 or below, poll was massive enough as is:)

Would you mean that it falls under the 9200 in terms of numerical sequence, or performance? Doesn't the 8500/8500LE/9100 outperform the 9200/9000? Not that I'm trying to nitpick, or anything.
;)

I'm using a 9100/8500LE PCI 128mb.

yeah, i meant numerical sequence (imagine the size of this poll if i had to go into the 7000 series :Q)

I still say 8500 should have it's own,

it's not part of any other category,there's no 8100 ,8200 .....

GF3.

Plan on upgrading sometime this year though. Perhaps some variant of the 5900.

I finally upgraded from my Geforce 2 GTS to a PNY GF4 Ti4200. Actually got an extra one if anyone interested...

Question I ask myself,

Why buy a 4400 or 4600 when I can overclock my ti4200 128 for fraction of the price?

Abit ti4200 8x 128 Meg 256-Bit all teh way.

Overclocked GF3 Ti500 ($85 a year ago) here, and ATI 8500LE ( $75 six months ago) in spare PC.
Both score over 10,000 in 3dm2k1se, and both run all games fine, so can wait another year before upgrading.
Then in a year or so, will pick up a 5800 or 9700 for under $100 and be good for another couple years.

that is the clock speed of a 9700 non-pro

Main system has a 9700 Pro (what I voted for) and my second system has a GF2 Ti450.

Still with my ELSA GeForce 2 MX, cos it still gives me playable framerates with the games I ran. I was gonna buy an 8500, but Vice City runs smooth in 800x600x16, and thats all I want.
PD: I REALLY die for a DX9 capable card, just to see technology demos, and 3D Marl 2003 running Nature... there is no money for that, i´m saving... and not for a 5200....
