I have a passive heat sink on my video card and I think it is hurting my overclock because it runs perfect until about 10 minutes into BF1942. After that my video goes crazy. I assume the GPU is heating up then crapping out.

Can someone suggest better cooling for my video card and do you think heat is my problem?

Thanks

you could try the Vantec Iceberg kit.

I used it for my northbridge cooling. It works great. The best mounting method is to have the 2 holes offset from the chip. If they aren't there you would need heatsink glue type stuff to hold it in place.

those zalman bracket fans. metal bracket screws to pci slot cover screw hole and it holes a 80mm fan over the vid card area.

or you can homebrew one by bending a pci slot cover and glueing or attaching with whatever a fan to the bracket, blows down over the cards.

that or cut a hole in side of case and mount fan, which is best since its fresh air.
