Of course, 3 months after i got the Acccord, he started walking and could climb into his seat by himself. Children are evil...like cats.

lol 🙂

Now that I think about it, I miss the '95 Regal GS that I had, too. Paint was shot to hell on it, but it rode beautifully, had a good stereo in it, got good mileage, and again - was actually big enough to pack some stuff in.

91 Dodge Shadow. 30 mpg with enough oomph to enjoy the ride, but not enough to get me in trouble.

Man was that a sweet ride...

My 91 Eclipse GS Turbo. It was pretty reliable up until the end, and I kept it in good shape for the 15 years I had it. My kids cried when we sold it to a friend.

1985 300SD Turbodiesel (mercedes)

It was a true PLEASURE to drive this car. Weighing in at more than 2 tons with only 120ish HP, it wasn't much for speed (though it went pretty fast if you waited long enough). The seats were beyond comfortable and the ride was inredibly smooth. It was also really manuverable (sp) for such a huge car--can out-turn my mother's new Accord.

Yep this car rocked. I liked it even more than my father's newer benz (1999 E430); the 300SD was a 'hand me down', which we sold when I went to college (boston--no need for a car).

Even better, that car was pretty much devoid of mechanical problems besides an on/off mystery oil leak--not bad at all for a car with 200K miles.

I had a 90 GST, the wheel-hop sucked. 😉

BTW I loved the Only HONDA worth owning

1976 280z - Balanced and blueprinted, high flow injectors, cammed (it's been a long time, I don't recall which one, but it moved the torque curve down and bumped the HP to 255 and torque to 310 with...), stroked crank, etc etc etc.

Sigh. It got stolen in North Carolina and I've never had the $$ to build another.

My 85 Thunderbird came to mind first. Was a nice, nice car....man o man. Bought in 89, had a 302 HO engine, red, leather, sunroof....loaded

Anyway then I remembered my baby that miss so much🙁

A 1967 Lincoln Continental 2 door coupe. She was beautiful I tell you. Dark Forest green (almost black), a 462 engine that put out massive amounts of torque, leather interior, etc. I owned her for ten years and took such good care of that beast. Granted I sold it for more than I paid and actually turned a bit of a profit, but still.

remember I used to take that thing skiiing because everyone's ski's would fit the trunk (with it closed and without putting any rear seats down and we could alll still sit very comfortably inside. That thing would jsut eat up mountain roads like nobodies business.

Just a random thought I had. Sorry to have distracted you from your regularly scheduled duties🙂

1988 California Edition Mustang GT with Ttops and factory Mass Air sensor.. the first year they had the MAF

by the time I was done with this car it was basically a 1993 Cobra with Ttops..

Heads, rockers, Intake, MAF, TB, with a B cam with a 150 shot of NOS with a full set of Mac exhaust into a set of 2 chamber flows and 2.5 inch tails...
all that topped off by Cobra bodywork..

loved that car.. ripped 11 second 1/4s on street tires..
miss that one even more than my 9 second LX5.0 with 750 hp

My 2000 Maxima SE. Smooth, powerful, beautiful leather interior and it looked like it cost $20,000 more than it did. I've never owned a car that fit my needs as well as that one. But I just had to have a WRX.....

I didn't own it, but I got to spend many happy miles in my parent's mid 90s Mercedes C280. They'd let me have it whenever we came back to NC to visit. Fantastic silky-smooth inline 6, damn near perfect ergonomics, fine handling and the only car I've ever driven that DID NOT RATTLE. AT ALL.

My 1999 Jeep Cherokee.... I modified the heck out of it with factory extras I bought real cheap from dealerships that were unloading their stock. It had side steps, factory brush guard with fog lights, hideaway subwoofer in the spare tiire, and a 6 disc changer. I miss it, but may get another one soon. I think my fiance wants me to get another one... Best part is that it was able to tow my boat....my truck is nice for hauling garbage and lumber, but I miss the A/C in the summer. 😛

i miss my VW GOLF r32 04....i got such a good deal on it, yet i lost my job and i decided to sell it and get something cheaper, i swear i should have opened another credit card and waited few months...i did find a job 🙂

'93 sentra

31mpg mixed/34 hwy

drove it 200k miles

but i mainly miss the $250/6months insurance for liability/comprehensive!!!

'96 Oldsmobile Bravada... white with the gold trim package, leather, high-end sound system(aftermarket), it was sooo nice. Too many little things started to go wrong tho.

I had a 1989 Probe, turbocharged with a 5 speed. It broke down just about every other week, but it was ridiculously fun to drive. It was like driving a big go-kart.

One of my favorites was my heavily modded 96 VW GTi.
Then there was always the 1988 and 1984 Caprice Classics, couches on wheels.
