Tripp Lite BC Pro 600 plugged into a Isotel 6 Ultra Surge Suppressor used as a power strip that is used for the UPS, printer, scanner, and other computer related paraphernalia. "All Tripp Lite UPS systems already have surge suppression built-in. However, if you are in an area that experiences frequent or intense power surges, you may place an additional surge suppressor in line before the UPS system in the power chain."

Since you are interested in UPS's, here are some FAQ's.

I love living in a place where the power tends to never go out :)

Or to answer your question: none :D

CyberPower 900AVR. Lower cost than APC and works just as well. Easy to install. Nice monitoring software. Highly recommend it!

If my power ever did go out I think it would be time to actually get some sleep.

2 X APC Back-UPS Pro 650
2 X APC Back-UPS Office 280
1 X Conext 300 (relabeled APC)
ton of other APC Surge Arrests.

In case you can't tell, I like APC!

BTW, Don't get Tripplite. They really screwed me!

I think I remember someone else saying Tripplite screwed them too. APC's are fine. I just think they're overpriced.

Deltec PowerRitePlus 650VA. Got it brand new on ebay for $75 shipped. Deltec was bought by Powerware. Most of their units are extremely high-end.

2x APC BackUPS Pro 1400 (one at home, one at work)
1x APC SmartUPS V/S 650 (powering the basement server)

APC's have been solid as a tank for me, but man are they expensive. Good thing I didn't buy them myself...

Not if you look in the right places! I got GREAT deals on my UPS's. I paid $170 and $200 for the Pro 650's and $35 each for the Office 280's. The Conext 300 was $20. If you don't mind used, you can get killer deals on Ebay (Ex. Smart-UPS 700 for less than $100).

Another vote for Cyberpower.

Have 2, a 575sl and 325. Both work flawlessly, good monitoring software and reasonably priced with great deals available.

Power goes out about once a day here so I have really tested them.

I'm plugged into a TSi UPS 21000 with four EXT-8000 battery extension units, and the these receive current via a TSi VRp line conditioner that is plugged into the wall.

APC Back-UPS 300...kinda small for my rig. I have everything plugged into the APC, but what more can you ask for $9 (from the Staples deal a while back)

I have the 900AVR on my workstation, and the 700AVR on the GF's PC. :) They have a killer warranty (yes I have done an RMA once).

Compaq T2000 (2000va) UPS running my desktop, cablemodem, and router
APC SmartUPS 1000 (1000va) UPS running my LCD monitor
APC BackOffice 350 running my phone and answering machine

The Compaq blows the stuffing out of the APC even holding the rating/load constant, but it's pretty expensive.
