I was going thru some of my vinyl's, as I am in the process of laying them down on discs.

I came across a few unopened ones, which back in the day, I bought two at a time, so I could play one, as well as preserve one.

I have:

Pink Floyd - Dark side of the moon
Led Zeppelin (Untitled) The one with black dog
Elvis Presley- Elvis Country (my mom gave me that)
Cheech y Chong- Big Bambu
Aerosmith
Bread
Heart- Dreamboat Annie

I just got all this stuff back after over 20 years. My wife and I were moving, and we left a few boxes with my sister, about 25 years ago. Apparently, she kept all the boxes and turned them over to me a few days ago. I'd long forgotten about most of it.

So far, I have like 200+ albums
a Girrard turntable
A Sansui amp / receiver, which was a gift from my father in law, when we were married. It weighs like 80lbs. I remember it was powerful, but we could not use it in the apartment, back then. It might take tubes.

I have enough albums, they are all open. Cool that you did that, makes them more valuable.

I do have one Elvis album too, worth about $300.00.

Still love Vinyl. :) Need to get my turntable fixed, found a guy in Ft.Worth that can do it. Maybe someday.

What's the worst album you have Comp? Hah. One you are ashamed to admit you have. ;)

I know my Aunt has an unopened White Album from the Beatles....

And my dad has a set of MacIntosh Table speakers with Amp, PreAmp, and Turntable.

I remember that thing could (and still does) shake the house

I remember my brother built his own speakers. They were in the basement, parents would go out of town, man crank those things up, our house too would shake, good times!!

Most of mine were commited to tape on their first play, and I tried not to use them after that. I've owned Ziggy Stardust on 8-track, cassette, and vinyl twice. Anything Bowie had a hand in producing, I have as well, but only one copy.

I only have two:
Nirvana - Nevermind, which I bought mainly for sentiment as I've already got the CD
Oingo Boingo - EP, of which I bought two so I could listen to one and preserve the other (not that it's worth any more than a few bucks)

Madman Across The Water (elton john)

I also have a 60's pop album of mixed artists still in the wrap.
