Freestyle chrono blue face. Had it about 2 years now, paid $175 from RonJon's.

This thing has survived two years of surfing, including smashing into a jetty.

Downside? When I had a problem with the ring (the thing you turn to say how much tank time you have if you're diving), I e-mailed Freestyle twice and never got a reply. Turned out to be a grain of sand in it, but they could have at least said something. Sheesh.

Kenneth Cole watch w/ a gun metal face... Cant find a pic anywhere though

Some sort of Casio digital watch I got at Target years ago. It was only $20 or $30, but damn this thing withstand my abuse.

Been thrown across the bathroom, stepped on, been hit with basketball, swam in ocean with it and years of abuse and its still working.

I have that same watch, I got it about 3 years ago and I'm really pissed off about it. Currently it:

1) Loses about 10 minutes per week (which makes a watch unusable)
2) When I clap my hands hard, the clasp falls right off and the band opens up

I'm about to have my watched serviced but I hear it will cost a good amount just to have it cleaned.

I've had mine for a little more than 9 months now and I haven't had any Problems with it.
It keeps great time and the band is actually quite difficult to pop open.

did your clasp by some chance maybe get bent or something?

Watches are for people who need to know what time it is.
I know what time it is.
I don't wear a watch, but I own a Bulova.

my brown timex one which is scratched to hell. does it's job though. i do have a swiss army knife watch that i wear on occasion, metal link band(center links are polished stainless steel) with a white face, gold numbers

That's how my watch WAS for the first 2 years. You are supposed to provide "regular maintainance" for your watch which includes a $300 cleaning every once in a while.

I was not aware of that. a few cleanings and your approaching the cost of the watch itself.. they have some nerve.

I have a Fossil watch my ex-girlfriend gave to me for my 21st birthday that I wear to work, but not at home - too bulky. I wear my trusty Timex Data-link at home and on the wekends. I never go anywhere without a watch - you should see the watch tan I get in the summer! 🙂

I have a snappy, sporty SunnyAnalogBoy Personal Sundial. It's a late 1950's Bulgarian People's Republic design. The battery life is amazing!! I haven't put one in yet!! Made of vintage Communist Bloc weapon's grade concrete, it has an articulated pig iron wristband, and weighs significantly less than four pounds, a HUGE advance over the somewhat more bulky older model it replaced.

It doesn't work well indoors, though.
